Actually life isn't really routine, but yes we do end up automating some stuff that we know we need to do & even automate the response to certain situations in case they happen as well. It's what makes us efficient. Just that after a while, we forget that those are the little things that spice up our lives & we become oblivious to it. When that happens, it's classified as boring. Yeah, it’s ironic how we enjoy watching dramas on TV but when little dramas happen in our own life, we kind of gasp in sheer shock.

There are many subtle things that make every day different. Maybe we just subconsciously make it routine because its easier that way...
